out of curiosity, how does banning work on apricity? is it usually just temp or permanent bans? do people get chances to apologize and redeem oneself? what does one have to do to get banned? Insulting other members? threatening them? I had the impression renaissance was trolling.

So the appealment process was different prior to the coronavirus pandemic leading to lockdown, but I hear that now if you want to get unbanned, you have to post a video of yourself getting on your knees, holding both hands as you keep bowing your head "PWEASE PWEASE PWEASE unban me!" (Yes, you had to pronounce please as if you were a pathetic cartoon character).

What was the process prior to the lockdown you may ask? Well, you had to meet an admin of Apricity, usually the one who lived in the same city as you...and uh- you had to get on your knees...
