    I excluded the ones who are Pontic or Anatolian Greek (the ones clustering with the Sicilians are probably Anatolian Greeks).

    Indeed, the 20 Greek samples that usually appear in studies are all from Athens and Thessaloniki, yet there is one of them that plots half way between Greece and Turkey (obvious Pontic Greek is obvious). Or the other study on y-dna that included "Northern Greek" samples from Nea Nikomedeia with 10% J1.

    In that thread I published them without checking, but I think it's clear that some are outliers or even non-locals.
