Belgium isn't that easy to split up. Brussels has been Frenchified and is surrounded by Flanders. Tension between French- and Dutch-speakers would worsen or rather revived. Better keep with Belgium even if it's not ideal. So be it.

How about giving 2/5 of Belgium to France, 2/5 to the Netherlands, and leaving a Rump State around Brussels (1/5 of territory)?

How about giving all of Flanders, including Brussels and Dunkirk (French Flanders), back to the Netherlands, and telling the French to go fuck themselves if they don't like it?

Haven't they stolen and Frenchified enough land from their neighbors already?

But Brussels is historically Dutch, regardless of current demographics.
