She comes across as manipulative in those e-mails. Insulting her ex-husbands manhood as a provider because he couldn't send a few hundred dollars to pay for his son's car insurance. I want to feel bad for the father but using his own money for a movie project that either of us could have made for far less money and doing so without considering that failure would mean he'd be financially fucked and therefore fuck his family financially strikes me as both idiotic and selfish.

If you want to take financial risks in life, then don't have children. It's no longer 'me...me... me...' when you have to provide for others. You can do whatever the fuck you want if it's just you. (btw... his second wife is totally hawt).
