I was craving something sweet so I made this quick amaretto-coffee cake/tart.

Spaghetti all'Amatriciana (Spaghetti with bacon, goath cheese, pepper, chilli, tomatoes, red wine,pepper and oil)



Brasato al Barolo (meat with cinnamon, Barolo wine, butter,carrots,carnation cloves, onions,olive oil, pepper and salt)




Peperonata (peppers, onions, garlic,olive oil,salt)


Grissini (typical Piemonteis "longbread")



Cassata siciliana (sweet based on the elaboration of almond paste)

Did you cook these ? If so, you are a GOOD cook, also, it appears a wealthy one. Using Barolo in cooking ?! I can't afford to buy it to drink.

Pastry is my thing but I have posted non-pastry dishes before. Quite a few times actually. I can post them again and some new ones but here is a simple phone picture for now. My meal today: Nasi Goreng made with black rice and some nontraditional vegetables.

Just made this Southern inspired sandwich for lunch. Louisiana hot link, Shrimp, 1 strip of bacon, provolone and a touch of mayo on french bread. yummy. So good I took 3 pictures
