I think you're exaggerating a bit here. You don't have to settle for a obese ugly woman if you're average. I'd personally rather lower my standards than be alone for the rest of my life, but the 80/20 rule is quite depressing, especially if you're trying online dating apps.

Also, post a pic of yourself, and what car do you drive and where do you work and what's your age. I think you are pointing to your height as a problem, but it could be a different issue. Also you might be placing your bar too high and being too judgemental on the women whom will date you. Also try to find women elsewhere than dating apps, I find that the quality of women and men there are less than desirable. Try meeting friends of friends friends of family members and so on. One thing I have noticed actually where I live (northern california) is that when I see couples, it's usually an attractive woman with a plain looking man or an unnatractive man
