Absolute nonsense. Gnostic thought and writings do not predate the gospel writings. They are added later, as Satan tries to undermine the early church and Christianity. But the Christians of that time noticed that, and spoke out strongly against the occultic gnostic teachings. Gnosticism then went extinct. It is only recently that it found support again, when some old gnostic works were unearthed in Egypt. It is total anti-Christian Satanic nonsense. Only those with very little knowledge of the truth would believe in that occultic drivel.
