Interestingly, Italian and French people are phenotypically closer to North Caucasians rather than they are to Scandinavians.
Alpinid, Dinarid and Mediterranid faces are common in France, Italy and Northern Caucasus. However, Scandinavians mostly have Nordid faces but Cromagnoid faces are not also uncommon among them. Because of that, Italian and French people are phenotypically closer to North Caucasians rather than Scandinavians.
You may think that Nordid faces are very common among French people but they are very common only among Normans.
