    Default The British Powerhouse

How is the European Union planning to adjust economically to the loss of Britain? Realistically, will it ever regain the financial strength that it had previously? What would this take?

What about all the rest of the EU states? Why don't they start contributing more?

Why don't they bother to work a lot harder and pay a lot more millions in taxes to the EU;- instead of making France and Germany pay more after Brexit in order to keep the poorer and incompetent EU states covered.

The UK is currently paying over £400 million every single week in taxes to fund the backward and lazy EU states.

Marine Le Pen's popularity continues to rise with each French election - and she wants French independence from the EU (SSR).

Brexit will be drawn out as long as possible, and then deliberately sabotaged. That's obvious to us all. Why does anyone expect any different when negotiations are literally being headed by an ardent and passionate 'remain' campaigner?

Success is doubtful. It's been sabotaged from the inside out. Most British who work, pay taxes, etc. realize that. Brexit needed someone dogged. Not May who is trying to play nice with everyone (British, EU, remain complainers, etc.) like a child wanting to make & keep friends on a playground. She's in over her head.

Seriously no offense but you've never been to Europe except on vacation, have you? It's not that the poorer countries are "lazy" as simply they don't have the economy to warrant more taxes. That is, after all, what happens in coalitions. The "strong" support the "weak" even if, as in the case of the EU, the purpose is corrupted.

As for the French they voted in Marcon so I wouldn't hold much hope for Le Penn. Anyone could tell Macron was Merkel all over again.

Germany, France, the UK. Almost all of the EU countries were better off. Even the "lazy" ones haven't entirely benefited.
