Music is not similar to any Balkan music at all. Guitar is not popular Balkan music instrument.
It reminds me of Russian Gipsy music.
People do not specifically look Serbian but I suppose they can pass as Balkan.

The singing stile with guitar is more or less similar to Corsican music.

I got a latin vibe at the beginning but that faded away. They aren't like the Balkans unlike what some claim, the guitar isn't used in the Balkans. Some Roma songs sound similar but idk if that's coincidence

Very beautiful music. That sorrowSounds a bit like gypsy music indeed (that emotional roller coaster, from joy to sadness real quick) but so does klezmer or some of the balkan folk for instance. Similar scales/ progressions they have. They have that middle eastern touch in their music and their culture, but there is a very strong mediteranean vibe too. Second song sounds somehow Italian. So i would say that their culture feels like some southern european/ middle eastern mix. Closer to Iran.
