Seljuks and Normans map which the video maker chose explains the situation quite well.
Master races of the 11th and 12th centuries.
Normans were vanguard of the mixed 1st Crusade's army, years after Roussel's attempt for Norman Anatolian kingdom.
When Normans started to clash with Seljuks, it was then the true clash of the titans considering by 11th and 12th centuries standards.

Clash of the Titans happened at Dorylaeum (northwestern Turkey) in 1097.
Norman contingent of circa 15k were vanguard and entered the Seljuk territory.
Kilij Arslan met Norman Prince Bohemond. Clash of the Titans.
8k Turks with magnificient use of horse archery were about to take down the 15k Normans. However when the rest of the Frankish Crusaders showed up, several tens of thousands, the day was lost for Seljuks.
Note: the video is accurate save for the numbers. They belittle Crusaders' numbers to show it as a great achievement.
