Bratislava is pretty overated for some reason there are so many tourist coming and you literally go through center for few hours.
But it has many pros -
low criminality
good prices (excluding acomodation which is overpriced as fuck)
homogeneous for a capital city what I love.

In Croatia overrated one is Dubrovnik. It-s beautiful ofcourse, but small , owercrowded and overpriced and I could recommend better authentic destinations in Croatia for foreign visitors.

This recent habit of abandoning longstanding English names (i.e. Peking, Bombay, Leghorn) for more "native" forms (i.e. [and even writing these makes me cringe] Beijing, Mumbai, Livorno) is obnoxious, unpatriotic, and pretentious.
