People tend to have some misconceptions about the middle ages, other than the occasional plague (usually occurred in crowded cities and of course the smoldering pieces of shit known as China and Byzantium) medieval life wasn't that bad. I'd prefer ofc to be a middle class or upper class individual. Living in my land of course, with knowledge of what would happen in history I would change what would happen. That would be very cool.

I just can't stand modernity tbh. I find it dead and hollow. At least the middle ages had chivalry, some sense of honor. Although that was in itself a degradation of older pre-Christian traditions.
