I actually spent a little less than a year teaching English in Lugo.
I was told that gallego differs from region to region, so I don't know if there is a region of Galicia that feels more Portugese
However, I asked several of my students and friends to tell me why Galicia was not part of Portugal.
They told me exactly what I posted before.
