Why do some get north italian as first?

Might be that the eastern shift? Althought Italians are not eastern shifted in a native sense

i think its because north italians score more middle eastern compared to Spaniards even southern Spaniards so it gets shifted to that direction

I've found an interesting Mexican guy. He looks quite European to me despite being around 30% non-Caucasoid.

Very interesting!
It seems that they should have an important sephardic jewish contribution.
Except the first, others have clearly more East Med % than regular iberians!
Or the reason of that should be another?

Not always the case, remember, there were many Italians who came with the Spanish to colonize Mexico
Northeastern Mexicans have colonial Italian ancestry from those Italian settlers

In most cases, yes it comes from the Jewish ancestry
in other cases, it is actual Italian heritage

there were also Greeks in colonial Mexico as well

that one is much better when it comes to Italian ancestry

the ones coming out with noticeable Italian ancestry are Northeastern Mexicans

because Mexico had the most diverse colonial population unlike other Latin Americans which consisted of 99% Iberians
in Mexico, the Spanish had brought with them Greeks, Italians, Portuguese, French to colonize Mexico
