Gays more likely to catch STDs

It says gays more likely to catch STDs, but im not sure if i understood correctly are they more likely to have more sex partners then heterosexuals or no? Please explain.

What is to explain? Men want to have sex 24/7 with many women. Gay men are no different except for the obvious.

It's because historically when gays weren't allowed to marry, they were less likely to form stable, monogamous relationships, and thus more likely to have casual sex with a lot of partners, which led to higher STD rates.

So gays having more STDs is a byproduct of homophobic discrimination and attitudes, and not something inherent in homosexuality itself.

Gays just like to have sex a lot, and with other men (the male gender is more susceptible to STDs), which increases the risk.

That's bs lol. Females are more susceptible due to them actually having weaker immune system than males

The type of sex gays have (back door) is more susceptible to STD infections than regular straight sex, thats the thing.

Also straight men want to have sex 24/7 with many, the only thing stopping then are women. Gay men dont have that problem so they just do it.

this^ Plus the modern sex positive attitude that teaches people it's totally fine to have casual sex with multiple partners, it's the whole reason the AIDS crisis happened in the first place.

Bug chasing also is an exclusively gay phenomenon.
