The landscape. We don't have that stuff here in Europe. Not even in Spain.

Come on, you Americans. You lot like to show off your tanks, guns, missiles, your capitalism-gone-wild, fighters and stealth bombers but why not show off your landscapes ?

Why should this piece of Eurotrash do it all alone, eh ?

Arizona may be the most distinctly American of US states. The whole frontier spirit of the Wild West and gunfighters, etc. Much that is American is derived from Europe and adapted to American conditions, but figures and places like Wyatt Earp and Tombstone evoke a uniquely American feel. Even the weather creates new dimensions. I've had Canadians and Northern Europeans remark on the dark tans of people in Arizona.

I don't feel like uploading pics at the moment but would be glad to help any of you find the best camera angles for Independence Hall (20 minute walk from here), a genuine covered bridge (30 minutes drive and then 10 minutes walk), a Swedish log cabin (1 hour drive), a genuine American ghetto just like the ones in the movies (closer than I'd like to admit), scenes from Rocky, quaint old alleys that match almost anything in Europe (outside my door)...
