Despite historical differences, Serbs, Croats and Bosniaks still tend to like each other enough. Depends on the individual. Hrulj truly hated Serbs, but even he mellowed down over the years. He still doesn't like Serbs, but many Serbs were tactful with the guy and it all was cool in the end.

But yeah, you've been in a war that was the most brutal since WWII. Hard to expect different than occasional Balkan shitstorms to erupt.

I have friends among both Serbs and Croats, but it seems Croat and Serbian hatred is WAY bigger than hatred between us and them.

Serbs are extremely conservative and radical, imagine Nazi Germany and Hitler (in that sense of Histeria)... for example.. they hate Catholics with Passion... muslims, jews,

whoever is against their Church is to be put on blacklist... they have literally 0 liberalism in they community... pure 0.

Croats are much more friendly to foreigners and easier to communicate with, albeit I like Serbian woman much more...

Could be, but I have known a (Bosnian) Serbian woman and while we never talked about politics, she was a normal person to hang around with. Hardly a hateful person.

Actually, at the same time Serbs will extremely support Muslims (Assad, Iran) because of anti-americanism and Israel/Jews because of anti-islamism. And also this about ''hate on Catholics'', it's simply not true for 90% people here. For example Poles and Italians are lovely here.

Serbs were among the biggest enemies of Hitler. Even cetniks the most radical of Serbian nationalists weren't Hitler's buddies (though it's from Hitler's side in not wanting a Greater Serbia to arise).

Anyway, most Serbs aren't cetniks anyway.

It is well known that Serbs are not really united among each other in many things unfortunately and there was a post, I'm not sure in which thread, where a Croat says that Serbs more easy can forget things than Croats.
