It's rare but I'm sure stuff like that happens. Imagine how much more backward it'd be if the government didn't crack down on a lot of this "culture" in the past. It'll fade with the younger generation, I guess. While I personally appreciate the cleanliness of Japanese and Korean culture of not bothering others, Chinese probably are a lot easier to socialise with. It's good to be somewhat different.

China is catching up on the cleanliness department with the younger generation, the older generations have too many peasant habits. BTW, Korea was filthy as fuck just 20-25 years ago, they've improved a lot. When I was a kid, I had a Korean friend and he told me that in Korea they used newspapers as toilet paper and the streets had a lot of trash. I've never been to Korea but I imagine it's changed significantly since then. China's going the same direction.
