    Default 2012 Presidential Elections

Who are you going to support for the elections? Personally I'm going to support Romney. He is a good centrist with some positive socialist tendencies (such as him passing the state health care law back in '06 that didn't overly bloat bureaucracy unlike Obama's 2000 pages long health care). How about you?

How about setting up a poll with the names of the other candidates so the rest of us shmucks can read up on US politics and get educated too? :/ Just a suggestion.

I found a nice website that lists potential GOP candidates.

I'd prefer Gingrich, but I'll take Romney. The goal is to stop Barack Obama before he turns America into Britain. A wildcard is Trump.

I'm not a big fan of Gingrich. Trump, on the other hand I won't mind. But ultimately, I prefer Romney since he is the right man for the job out of all choices.

At this point I actually wouldn't mind if Trump was President. It might be weird to have one of the most wealthy real estate tycoons in office, but to get where he is today the man has to know how to manage a budget. Which is what we need.

Although I can already imagine the left screaming bloody murder at his inauguration. "The evil corporate tyrants have finally showed themselves!"

Either way I can't wait so long as Premier Obama gets the hell out of the White House.

Just an idea but what about avoiding republicunts (you can see what they are doing now in Wisconsin- giving it to the rich) for a while and vote for another democrat that might pop up that would be more to the centre.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

Obama is going to run for reelection you'd have to wait until 2016 for such thing to happen. I'm not sure why you would choose to polarize such thing anyhow. It's not like the Democrat party is any better than the Republican party. I can't even remember when we had a decent democrat president. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton are the two last democrat presidents and both were horrible. Meanwhile we've had decent Republican presidents such as H.W. Bush (he wasn't as bad as W.), and to a lesser degree, Reagan (I still hate Reagan for conspiring to bring collapse to Yugoslavia just because the country was communist but other than that he was a pretty decent president).

Trump's appeal comes from his populist get tough positions on immigration and China. His financial history, particularly with the bankruptcy, isn't going to inspire confidence as a fiscal manager.
