I have seen arabs who pass for euro and euros who look arab. More times arabs look southern european but they are middle easterners who look northern european or western european too.

Native Americans are to Mongoloids what Gypsies are to Indians. Racially they are identical, but the ethno-cultural aspects have diverged too much for there to be a true connection.

Native Americans are to Mongoloids what Gypsies are to India. They have a common origin, but have diverged enough through certain environmental factors that they can be considered their own subrace. I'd say Amerindians are a unique sub-adaptation of the Mongoloid race in the prehistoric Americas.

Gypsies aren't diverged from Indians at all, they look the exact same, especially when compared to global populations. Of course, some Gypsies look more MENA or Euro than average North Indians because they have that extra admixture. There are differences in mental traits, but you can say the same for Finns vs Russians, or even ethnicities within the same country (New England English vs Deep South English, Irish vs Irish traveller), yet they are the same race.

The Gypsies have been present in Wallachia/Transylvania since at least 1400. That's recorded history. Prior to that they lived in the Byzantine Empire for some centuries.
