It was, but not anymore. I believe Celts in Central Europe were way less preservated than Celts in extreme regions like Ireland. Thats what I believed before see your Lechtal map.
But now Im looking to the map you posted, its interesting how its peak in France/Swistzerland but its also shows a high afinity towards West Countries. Ireland appear as 70-75% and thats very high, despite the big distances and a lot of centuries they still show familiarity. People always say Austria have some a strong germanic and even some important east vibe, but it does not work at all for Swiss people.

At least as complex as every other European ethnos.
I do not believe, strictly perceiving, that any European ethnos is, essentially, anything.

Swiss german are a mix of Bavarians, Rhaetians ( not indoeuropean people ) and celts..
