Maybe it's the person who wants to believe unconsciously that the exorcism will purify him/her. Like a circulation , without the religion , theres no demon posess and backwards, If u know what I want to say.. The belief in the supernatural is the very essence of the human race since the first man has stepped in this world, and it's inside everyone. So it makes sense to me, but I don't want to convince u or state that ur perspective is wrong. Ive been started as someone who believe in god since christianity is the most common belief amongst european communityes (while it's not from european origin) so it was obvious so to say, although ive never read the bible. Why I've felt like I have to add this is to be clear im not an atheist who denies everything beyond material, but to see things from other sights. Sorry for my english not being native speaker. : )

It's a case of, if you want to believe you see it confirmed. But it's almost always after a person's conversion. I also have memories of which, if I were a believer, I'd attribute it to divine intervention. Like when I suddenly remembered what I needed to say during my communion at the last minute.

Well the Arabs didn't write that much and had mostly oral traditions but it's present in Islam (i.e. the Qu'ran and the Hadith) and Islam is Arabian plagiarism at it's best from Judeo-Christian sources along with later Gnostic writings. The concept of the Jinn is alien to Christianity and Judaism. Do you really think the existence of the Jinn was later 'revealed' by Djibril/Gabriel in a cave called Hira somewhere near Mecca because God forgot to mention their existence to the earlier prophets? Well I could accept an alternative possibility and that is that Muhammad's and/or his followers added it later to the Qu'ran but surely it didn't came from God nor his Angels (if such thing as a personal ''theistic'' God and Angels even exist, let alone believing in a revelation in a desolate cave). Of all monotheistic faiths I find Islam the least credible and most infantile of all, although I must say that I can appreciate Islamic art.

No, again, you are very wrong and very mistaken... probably because of lack of knowledge and experience.

No it isn't. You don't know what you are talking about... and you lack knowledge and experience.

Would you agree that the example you gave of women speaking in men's voices is a good indication of genuine demonic activity?
Well.. it could be, I don't want to make such rules.

And no, I did not mean you were one of those unbelievers. Honestly.. I think the ones who are "gullible" are ones who would always go along with mainstream skepticism, and believe in nothing that the majority of unbelievers don't believe in.

These people also don't believe in God, and the primary reason why they insist demonic possession is fake, is because if they agree it is real, it would put their atheism under scrutiny.. and that they cannot allow. Hence they would go so far as to pretend to be skeptical, even if there is overwhelming evidence against their non-belief.

I experienced those things around 1989.

I am glad I've only seen this on the internet. I emphasise with those who fall victim to it and I don't envy the priests who are called in to deal with. The priests who are called to cast them out often face very dangerous situations themselves - and yes - some do get injured.

Wake up and smell the coffee.
