Genetically they differ about the same. Slightly closer to British Islands concerning the Portuguese judging by the 75 samples I have posted so far on my K36 similarity maps thread.

When it comes to haplogroups Iberia shares more similarity with the British Isles as well, though here it is not just slightly. R1b is dominant.

Ok, but often from normal ones they turn into 30 pages trollish threads.
Between South_Italian and Spanish_Andalucia (autosomically) there is a distance of @ 29, between Spanish_Andalucia and Southwest_English the distance is @ 25.
