Polydactylism is a congenital physical anomaly in humans and animals resulting in supernumerary fingers and/or toes. Polydactyly can occur by itself, or more commonly, as one feature of a syndrome of congenital anomalies.



Hyperdontia is often is associated with a variety of conditions or syndromes such as cleidocranial dysplasia, Ehler-Danlos syndrome, Gardner syndrome, and cleft lip and palate.
