That high I can only think of Sardinians.

I think it's impossible, since West Med is higher specially at Iberian/Southern French/Northern Italian populations and they tend to be a mix of North Atlantic + West Med + East Med mainly.

Heck. I mean, it would be weird to imagine that "Sardinian" at K36 is literally some kind of West Med, but ok. Dunno how they calculate that component.

HGDP Sardinian is the reference sample for West Med component on K36 so trust me, they can come off showing really high West Med.

Bare in mind that I used the reference sample. Other Sardinian samples shouldn't be as isolated as this one but it is still expected West Med to be their highest component and well above any other European or non-European ethnic group. West Med basically peaks among Sardinians since they are the reference for this component.

Yes. I can't remember which calculator used a Turkic sampler as a "100% Siberian" or "100% Central Asian" thing too. Anyway, that can blur things a bit, but anyway, that happens.

You're pretty close to Moldavia. I guess 32% Baltic would be above the average in Serbia, wouldn't it?
