I have seen some genetic results where they shift toward Serbia, Croatia, etc. and rather than coming up like southern French or Spaniards, they come up halfway between Spain and Thessalian Greeks or Albanians.

Might they have Slavic input that was assimilated, or is it likely pre-Slavic Balkan input?

I dont have those mongol traits, since I look more northwestern and central italian, but a lot of my aunts have some few mongol traits combined with green eyes and light brown hair or brown blonde.

This seems accurate, my grandmother and great grandmother were classified as "baltid" and "norid", my mother aswell.. (great grandma born in Emilia-Romagna)
