I guess you've got to weigh it up with preservation and whether being a tourist site can be damaging. The way is was built to catch the sunlight on the winter solstice is what is so magical about it. It was quite a few years ago that I was there and I've never forgotten it. There are a lot of ancient monuments in Ireland. Skellig Michael would be pretty special to visit. My parents did Croagh Patrick in the past. My mother said it was very hard.

I would kill to go to Great Skellig or other mountain ranges in Ireland like Croagh Patrick. I feel like Ireland has a lot of "bang" and gorgeous scenery for such a small country. A sight at every corner. It blows me away.

Described as “a poser’s paradise”, Grafton Street in Dublin - a look at the youth culture, fashion and trends in Goths, Cure-Heads, Psychobillies and teenagers who prefer not to be labelled about their clothes and music.

This is the problem with sitting browsing the internet. A quiet Tuesday evening quickly becomes a very early Wednesday morning with the alarm going off and me questioning what I booked last night. But this was the only moment of regret, once I arrived in Ireland, I knew I was onto something pretty cool. Originally I'd thought a wee overnighter in Cork was the plan. I'm so glad I went the extra few miles to Cobh - It is genuinely one of the coolest towns I've ever visited, with everything I look for - sea views, ships of all description, friendly, laid back locals, and a proper Guinness

Join me on my short time in Cobh and discover some of the history this small town has to offer. And yes, I'll also take you for that pint.

Filmed on location in Cobh, County Cork on 22nd/23rd June 2022.

    Itinerary and costs:
    Ryanair flights £50
    22 Jun EDI ORK FR3732 0735 0855
    23 Jun ORK EDI FR3739 2140 2255
    Seat Reservations £4 per flight
Bus Cork Airport - City 2.20euro each way
Train Cork - Cobh 3.90euro each way
Garden Room at West Beach House £70 (with some booking.com discount - may be a tad more normally)

Our spectacular adventure in Ireland from drone. We visited in 7 days lot of wonderful places - Cliffs of Moher, Rock of Cashel, Kilkenny castle, Drombeg Stone Circle, Burren National Park or Charles Fort. Due to the irish weather we couldn't fly with drone in many places. We also visited Galway, which is amazing small towm full of lovely people, irish music and pubs. Unfortunately last day came the hurricane Ophelia and we had to stay in our cottage on the farm.

A 4K HDR Narrated Walking Tour of Grafton Street in Dublin City Centre.

Take a walk with me and learn about the history of the most famous shopping street in Ireland. Grafton Street began its life as a small country laneway but has become one of the most expensive retail streets in the world. Filmed in December 2023 when the street is adorned with Christmas Lights and window displays this tour tells the story of the streets development and the businesses past and present that have operated here.
