What Romanians think of italians?

Mostly fashion ,cars , Vatican/Venice and orange/strawberry picking and other low jobs like this is pretty much what most romanians know of Italy.

at least they are hard working people, (the real ethnic romanians i know) unlike some other "new" immigrants.
some negative prejudice still among some italians is because the first romanian citizens to come here were gypsies and at the beginning people just assumed they were "normal" Romanians

Mary is right, foreigners(not gipsies, negroes and their kind ..) do get an advatange in dating romanian women, this is common in all eastern Europe, they see it as a prestige or novelty in their life, of course there are many exceptions..

Why italians would care about romanians? They speak an italian derived language, so they shoukd care about us and not we about them.

So if there are some Romanians on the forum I'm curious to know what our Latin brothers think of us. Any negative prejudice or positive one?

Romanians are almost fully Latin speakers since mid of 19th century.
After that Romanian (Vlach) language was half Slavic.
