I don't know if I have posted here yet but anyone under 6 ft/5'11" is short from my perspective

I'm not sure I believe the "height average" statistics are actually accurate for most countries and I think it's actually a lot higher, at least where I'm from. By most of those averages I would be considered quite tall but I see larger numbers of taller people than me every single day, both men and women.

5"9 is totally average. Maybe in the netherlands its on the shorter side but even there I doubt you are considered a midget. I know guys who are 5"3 so just imagine how they have it.

For men, I’d say below 173 cm is short and for women below 160 cm. Although I am tall ( 195 cm - 197cm) depending on what I wear too, the average Belgian male (181cm or so) is only exceeded by the Dutchmen, that’s it!
