Therefore, in this video, I will give you 3 simple tips on how to use or ride the Paris metro which includes how to identify your travel zones, how to buy a ticket in the Paris metro or Paris RER and finally how to change metro from one line to another. The story of how the Germans conquered the Eiffel Tower in 1940, and how the French won it back in 1944.

    A little bit of history:

Paris, 16th May, 1937. Métro station Porte Dorée in the XIIe arrondissement. Passengers are shocked to find the body of a young woman aboard an unoccupied train carriage. The body was later on identified as 30 year old Laetitia Toureaux with the Italian nationality - and she had been stabbed to death in the 90 seconds between the last stop and Porte Dorée. Since this murder took place at a very unstable period in French history, this murder fuelled all sorts of conspiracy theories (from right-wing groups to the state security services). The case was dropped in 1940 (during the German invasion) and no murderer was ever caught. To this day, the Toureaux Case remains one of France's most interesting historical murder cases.

GRAPHIC IMAGES. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. A young Italian woman boards a train, Paris-bound. By the next stop, passengers step into the carriage to find her bleeding having been stabbed in the neck. Who killed Laetitia Toureaux and why?
    The station during the 1930s:

The scene of the crime - being inspected by the French police detectives.

    The station today:

Wake up and smell the coffee.

I just wanted above all to wish you a happy new year 2020 a year that will be as usual rich in videos on this channel! For this first video of the year, a classic from the repertoire of the suburbs of Saint-Lazare: a short journey from Paris to the gates of the Sun King's residence. The journey will be made on board a Z50000 self-propelled element, these brand-new trains have recently ousted the brave Z6400 from this relationship but from time to time it still happens that a stainless steel train returns to this small branch of the L line. Thank you all for all your messages on my previous videos, asnd please feel free to subscribe Facebook : Mika 67407

Après être arrivé avec le dernier SLOM de la journée, il est temps de garer mon UM de Z2N au technicentre de Vitry.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

FR/ une ballade à Paris dans le quartier du Marais, rue Rivoli

The Virtual Tourist walks around the Latin Quarter and Paris' Left Bank in France

Full coverage of the Eiffel Tower from the base to a 360 view on the top floor including two 150m elevator rides to the 300 height view-deck. You couldn't possibly visit Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower. Even if you do not want to visit this world famous structure, you will see its top from all over Paris. This video features a walking tour from the base of the Eiffel Tower to the Top Floor, with a spectacular view from 300 meters. Date recorded: May 2019 Weather: ⛅ 14C | 57F

A visit to the rue Cler in Paris, a pedestrian market street in the Seventh district of Paris that is famous mainly because of Rick Steves, an American travel writer who sings its praises in his travel guides. There are many market streets in Paris, including streets far more interesting than this one, but this one gets the most press, so I've made a short video about it.

This is the rue Montorgueil in Paris, France, a commerce street that has been popular with Parisians for five centuries. Unlike the sleepy rue Cler, so heavily recommended by a certain travel author whom I won't name, the rue Montorgueil is buzzing with activity day and night, and the people there are Parisians, not American tourists. Some of the businesses on this street have been there for three hundred years. Today the street remains popular and exceedingly trendy. I hope this video will convey some of the charm of the rue Montorgueil.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

A first-person perspective Paris walk tour along Rue de Rennes to the French Senate at the Luxembourg Palace, passing the Saint-Sulpice Church and Fountain along the way.

A first-person perspective Paris walk tour of the Louvre including the Pyramid and Palace. See all the sights as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person!) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of Paris, featuring the Louvre. The tour starts within the northern wing of the Louvre Palace (Palais du Louvre), then moves out into the Napoleon Courtyard (Cour Napoléon), where the large glass pyramid stands, then into the Square Courtyard (Cour Carrée), before returning to the Napoleon Courtyard where the tour concludes. Sights seen along the tour include the Louvre Palace, Louvre Pyramid (Pyramide du Louvre), water features and foutains, many tourists taking photos and selfies, break-dancing and the equestrian statue of King Louis XIV as Marcus Curtius (copy). And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!

Vivez le trajet en train de 370 kms entre les gares de Paris Saint Lazare et Cherbourg depuis la cabine de conduite d'une BB 26000, à la place du conducteur, comme si vous étiez aux commandes.

Wake up and smell the coffee.
