This car remains as innovative today as it was when it first hit the road in 1955. Jay changes its tire without a jack - and shares Citroën's truly weird advertisements.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

I have been to Paris a couple of times. I, particularly, am familiar with the North of France. People really underestimate that part.

The story of French high speed rail:

How fast can a fast train go? This documentary gives you insights into the science behind and the creation of a fast train.

A fast train is a train specifically designed to carry passengers over long distances. An express train features high speeds and cutting-edge technology to provide a smooth and fast journey. At the same time, technology never stands still, as engineers are constantly working to achieve even higher speeds.
Take a trip with us to the 1950s, when the history of the express train began with the CC 7100 model.

    Millau

Necklace from the Bronze Age – Dolmens de Peyrolevado, Millau – Muséum de Toulouse

Remains of the old Roman oppidium.

    The famous bridge:

Science does not only take place in space, but also in the construction of buildings. The Viaduc de Millau is one of these structures and definitely belongs to the mega bridges.

The documentary about Viaduc de Millau gives impressive insights into the planning and construction of the mega bridge in France. Viaduc de Millau reaches a weight of 290,000 tons and a length of 2460 meters. This makes the bridge the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world.

What does the historic Pont du Gard bridge relate to science? Pont du Gard was not only a bridge that connected people, but also a scientific and Roman masterpiece that brought water to people.

What looks like a bridge here was actually an aqueduct from Roman times. An aqueduct is a structure that was used to transport water from one place to another. For this purpose, gravity and slope are exploited. For 500 years, the Pont du Gard was used to transport water from Uzès to Nîmes.
The Pont du Gard is unique in being the only example of a three-story ancient bridge still standing today. Built in the first century AD, the Pont du Gard is 49 meters high and 275 meters long. It was a masterpiece for the scientists and engineers of the time.
