Patsy and Edina have plastic surgery to look Chinese - they both have eyelid reduction surgery and the latter also has leg reduction surgery, in order to approach the average height of a Chinese woman. They also take Chinese lessons, with a racist and abusive Lucy Liu as the teacher, who bullies Patsy in particular and calls her 'the blonde dumbshell'.
