Lol hindi is not important. Only indians speak it and no foreigners are interested in it. I would add Arabic, German, Italian and japanese to that list in terms of importance on a global scale.

India is the 4th largest economy in the world though. And most people on earth are indians, even surpassing the chinese.

Yeah but hindi makes up merely 40% of the speakers in india. the rest 60% speaks regional languages. India uses english moreso throughout the country rather than hindi so hindi has a lower status than english within india itself let alone the rest of the world. Both english and hindi are official languages of the constitution and government, but in terms of business settings most indians use english and foreigners dont really need to learn hindi cause its not really necessary.

yeah maybe 80% can speak it at basic level but not enough to call it a second language for the non native speakers. Either way hindi doesnt have the status as those languages I previously mentioned. Japan, China, Middle east, european countries are way ahead in terms of global dominance and many foreigners live and work in those regions so its necessary for them to learn those local languages for work, business, educational opportunities, etc. Hindi is of no importance cause not many foreigners live in India and many upper and middle class indians can speak english anyways so most dont see any need to learn hindi.

also i noticed that you are submissive, the oppossite fractal. you always say negative things about indians, you agree they are weak, ugly, and of no importance, poor. etc. you agree always with the ones who say such things about indians. why do you that?

yeah they really should. I like china in this aspect that even the turkic region of china speaks mandarin as a second language. the retarded diversity in our nation pisses me off. Its the tamils in south india who are always anti-hindi. Spewing all that bullshit that we want to preserve tamil language and culture. However I can't blame them completely cause there was never an indian identity before 1947. British just put kashmiris, tamils, and north east indians into one nation all of a sudden so that nationalistic feeling was never there to begin with. Hopefully we function as a nation in the near future.
