That map is a little outdated, but it's pretty accurate. I1 is strongest among Dalmatian Serbs and Serbs from southwestern Serbia.

Serbs from southwestern Serbia and Dalmatia have +15% I1.
Serbs on average have around 9%.

PS Macedonians weren't calling their male children Srbin back in the 19th cent for no reason =========> hence the surname SRBINOVSKI?
Make/Majke/Mother, Don/Dom/Home. Or another possibility is Motherland.

I've noticed some Srbinov's. 19th century Macedonia was a crazy period. Macedonians tried finding favour with all three larger Balkan nations, the Serbs, Bulgarians and Greeks. There were pro Serb factions in the region, especially the north. It would explain the name Srbin being introduced. Nevertheless, that name wasnt even in the top 50 names at the time. Most common were names like Georgi, Aleksandar, Filip, Vasil, Stojan, Atanas.

Hence that's why Croats have Bosniak last name...

Yo so ancient man.... you don't need to take other nations names.

Greeks want to steal your history, they even stole Zeus whose real name is Radovan.

    Never give up.. High Five
