Show me where it says he is Serb? It does say though that he came from Prilep, Macedonia. Which was at that time part of the byzantine empire.

1) Ιt says he comes from Prilep,but there is no confirmation that is Prilep, Fyrom. They actually say is from Prilep , in modern day Kosovo.
Even if he was born in Prilep, Fyrom, that period of time, Prilep was part of Serbian Empire. Still, nothing close to Fyrom, which is a country less than 30 years old.
2) His father was a Vlach from Kastoria , and his mother was Serbian. His mother's family is also of Lazar of Serbia and Basarab I
3) He was part of the delegation (1375) to normalize the relations between Serbian church and the Patriarchate.
4) Who are these ''Macedonians'' ?

No Queen B. In this thread i have two different subjects of Macedonians in Romania. The first subject is about a Macedonian family who settled in Romania and called the village Macedonia. Its not related to the saint.

Also, I did ask, 4) which is this ''Macedonian'' family. Do you have a name? I suppose it is as ''Macedonian'' as Nicodemus is.

So basically, there is not any info of what this ''Macedonian'' family is , and the only reference that it was named after a ''Macedonian'' family is a modern day historian that claims it.
Considering what the Byzantine them of Macedonia was back then, it could be a family from Thrace for all we know

Forgive me , but - unless I understood wrong - the village was founded before 1332 (as it already appears there) and this Ladislau Doczy (whoever even knows his ancestry) owns the houses in 1465.

Could be relative of the founders. As Vladislav is noted as being from Macedonia.
