Anyone in this forum with any connection to a passenger on the Titanic?

Since i was young, my grandmother always told me she had a uncle that was on the titanic but sadly died as a result of the accident. Only recently i decided to do a search of names of passengers on the titanic, and funnily enough, i came across the one and only Macedonian on board.

His name was Dimitri Marinko, died at age 23, Labourer. Listed birthplace Macedonia and nationality as Macedonian from Austria. And was travelling in 3rd class. I assume he was a worker on board.

Yes and he was Egejec too from Lernsko region. I will hopefully get his home village soon. But it looks like it may have been Kladorabi.

Amazing that he was the only Macedonian on board. Such a small world that i'm related to him.

He took residence there it appears. But defiantly was from the Lerin/Florina region originally. He's noted as Macedonian! Why not Bulgarian?
