The study you refer to is not about skin tone.

In any case, it is not necessary to do so for Spain. In cities like Madrid and Barcelona where there are citizens from all parts of Spain, even for ourselves it is impossible to know which province each one is from and much less do we observe differences in group tones, so it is an issue that does not exist between us.

It is an issue that is understood or contemplated perhaps more in countries or continents with a great ethnic variety.
