LOL, at half pan-Euro. There are some who are neutral looking; we can agree on that but it's a small percentage. Ashkenazi have some of the most distinct ethnic characteristics amidst other ethnicities, Europeans / MENA / West Asians. It is consistent with their bottlenecked, small gene pool.
You are deluded. Most Ashkenazi look more or less distinctly Jewish next to Southern Euros, let alone next to Central / Northern / Eastern Europeans. The vast majority of Pre- II war Jews couldn't blend in as native Poles that would help them to survive. Only a minority exhibited some Aryan look (here it does not necessarily mean blond blue-eyed). Poles who are 1/2 Jewish or less tend to look off as well.
Though I remember someone telling me that Ashkenazi Jews from my part of Europe were among the darkest.
