https://anthrogenica.com/showthread....l=1#post386030It is impossible to find a perfect modern proxy for the Oghuz incomers, the demographic transition following the Mongol invasion has reshaped the genetic structure of Central Asia. The region between the Caspian and Aral Seas, which was once home to Oghuz people, is currently inhabited by Kazakhs and Mongol tribes (Dughlat, Jalair, Onggirat etc.) played a significant role in the formation of Kazakhs.
So Central Asians were less Mongoloid and more West Eurasian before Mongol Empire?
