You just need to play by the rules and Australia will give you a fair chance. If you lie on your visa application, act violently or in any criminal manner, try to enter the country illegally and so forth, it's absolutely fair that you'll be removed. Think before you act. Don't bring the corruption or bullshit from your homeland there.
Hopefully the hardnosed Aussie politician will rule supreme until the rest of the world sorts their gutless responses out and start working for their people again.

Because the deported scumbags are Maori or Pacific Island people of New Zealand origin (born in NZ). Many don't have family here. In this instance, it is a 17YO young man. He should've considered the consequences of being caught before committing the crime.

What needs to said or not said, so not to besmirch other people reputations, is that the person was deported to NZ or wherever without saying, New Zealander or Tongan or Briton even. Plenty of people use passports of convenience to enter another nation and are hardly representative of the real people.
