Do you consider yourself beautiful?

I have a few redeeming qualities, but beauty is probably not one of them. I feel beautiful though, which is maybe more important than actual beauty itself. Beauty is a subjective quality, depends who you ask. Taste differs.

A strangely interesting question. In all honesty, I do not know how to answer this. I have had women who I felt were out of my league ask me out whom I had never spoken to prior. But this has only happened maybe a couple of times in my 28 years. So I'm definitely not above average. I also definitely don't have a commanding presence in terms of my appearance but self-assessment in this area this is pretty difficult.

Usually, any attraction I have been able to generate with the opposite sex has probably come from a combination of me being passable while also being able to carry on a semi-smart conversation.

In short: not holistically, no. But then, very few people actually are in the objective sense I think the OP is referring to.

Note: Embodying human beauty does not equate with "hot" or "damn look at that ass" or whatever grimy hedonistic sensibilities attach themselves to that word in the modern age.

I don't think man needs to be worried about being or not being beautiful. There are more important qualities. First of all, man needs to be manly . If you are beautiful but not manly it's all in vain.

I would even go so far as to say that vanity is more acceptable in women than in men. Vanity (in the sense of worrying about one's beauty) is associated with women, not men. We want pretty women. We want strong men. Men worried about their hair or their skin are not strong. In fact, they seem quite delicate physically and emotionally. Yet we want delicate women.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What some thinks is stunning other may think is normal and third thinks is ugly. People are so different from their beauty ideals.

I'd say I'm cute (not particularly beautiful in the classic sense) but the thing I like is I look younger than my age - which is a fact that has to do with psychology and also exercise.

I used to think I was ugly but then many people later in life have told me I am good looking, even just random people I don't even know. I used to hate about myself my hair the most, because people used to make fun of it when I was younger, but seems everyone else thinks it's the best feature about me.

Haters gonna hate, I guess. I guess they were jealous of my thick healthy lion's mane and its beautiful curls.

Also helps that I have nice teeth, nice eyes, and a forgiving body that even when I put on a few pounds, still looks good because my body fat when I gain evenly distributes so I still have a feminine figure, a small waist, and no gut (this also makes me able to lose weight with minimal effort, since I rarely gain belly fat which is harder to lose).

I just wish I had a bigger butt.
