It depends on what regional variation of Yiddish it is. One video about a Yiddish immersion camp I could understand pretty solidly, but then one Yiddish language film I watched, I could barely understand anything.

They are the same group of language, slavic language.
Ukrainian is also similar to Russian, but not as much Portuguese is similar to Spanish and Galician.

English, Spanish (but I can understand people speaking better than I can actually speak), and very shaky German as I'm just learning it now.
