That's the only insect we eat, plus it's clean, unlike other insects/athropods that are eaten in Asia and other places. The only insect that is eaten. Well and other sea arthopods like shrimp and prawn.

Yeah, I've been on this food street in Beijing a few times called Wangfujing. A couple stalls sell scorpions and all that because tourists all gather and gawk at them. None of the locals eat that stuff, it's a tourist gimmick.

Eating anthropods isn't even disgusting to me. But I'm a guy who ate these yesterday.



Taste better than they look. Almost like chicken, but with the taste of the sea to them and some different texture. Not the same as land snails.

But they're eaten all over Europe, I think.
