How do you differenciate dark brown and black hair ?

brown hair is actually something Northern, most Europeans below parallel 45 actually have black hair, in the sun black hair can look brownish/reddish. and many above that parallel have black hair as well.

actual brown hair is something you see in Germans, Norwegian, Swedes, Icelanders, with brown beards
