Looking at history it seems most nations experienced something like one of these things:

-- Rulers became subjects and subjects became rulers.
-- Slavers became slaves and slaves became slavers.
-- A conqueror nation turned into a conquered one.

So is there any unconquered nation?

They were ruled by Iranians, Turkics, some Central Asian dynasties, and British Empire.

Probably Japan, only asian(and amongst the few global) nations who weren't subdued by the massive mongol empire, made a notable stand in WW2 being the last nation under arms

Before WW2 yes but now Americans decide for them.

Portugal was never conquered but it was governed by a "foreign" power for 60 years (the Spanish crown). I don't know if that counts but even if it doesn't I don't think that there are many nations that can say they have had 879 years of nearly absolute independence.

You need to fix your chronological timeline, lol. Portugal didn't exist during that period.

And the Western corner of Iberia wasn't a Roman "playground", it took them 200 years to conquer it. Lusitania was the area of the peninsula that resisted the Roman invasion for the longest time.

Now all countries are in financial and cultural occupation.
There is not a single 100% sovereign nation.
But before 1945-1965 there were many sovereign states.
All events of the 20th century were aimed at depriving people of independence.

Portugal had Romans, Suevis, Moorish, Spanish, French etc...

I think it's hard to find a country (at least in Europe) that hasn't been under foreigner domination at least once.
