Seljuks were defeated near Sivas by Mongol armies in 1243. They accept vassalage to avoid wiping out. 1250 is year Karaman Beylik is created.

Weren't the Ottomans partially destroyed by the Timurids? The Timurid invasion resulted in Ottoman devastation and civil war AFAIK. If so, the Turks cannot be counted, or at least specify which Turkic group you're talking about.

Ottomans didn't lose their lands in the Balkans.
But I don't know if that can be counted as independent. That is still counted as independent though that is questionable.
Since the Ottoman civil war was not won by Suleyman who fled with Serbs to Balkans.
It was won by Mehmed I who was captured by Timur, given some lands in Anatolia.
Mehmed I was vassal to Timur even minting coins with Timur name. but after he took Balkans from Suleyman and Musa, he stopped doing that vassalage.
So I don't know but historians still consider 1243 as last invasion date of Turkey. So the Timurid era seems like a vassalage though historians do not count.

1402-1413. Indepent Ottomans in Balkans. With Suleyman and then Musa.
1413. Mehmed from Anatolia, vassal to Timurids, take over Balkans but he is independent from Timurids then.

That is open to discussion.

England not correct. Last time invaded in 1066 by Franco-Normans.

Map shows us Turkey and Russia are historically invaded by states coming from East, not West.

Portugal was invaded in 1808 by Imperial France.

Portugal was invaded by Napoleonic forces but it was never conquered or under their influence. We defeated their three invasion attempts, so obviously we were never conquered by France unlike much of the rest of Europe.
