Logically to Kurds. But it also depends on which Iranians and which Afghans..the Kalash? the Pastun? Iranians are made up of numerous ethnic groups and the same goes for Afganis.

Even though Pashtuns are supposedly ethnically Iranic, i think they share more similarity in appearance with South Asians (Pakis and Afghans) than they do with Iranians. unlike Kurds, who are also Iranic, but barely resemble South Asians at all and look much more Iranian/West Asian.

Even though Pashtuns are supposedly ethnically Iranic, i think they share more similarity in appearance with South Asians (Pakis and Afghans) then they do with Iranians. unlike Kurds, who are also Iranic, but barely resemble South Asians at all and look much more Iranian/West Asian.

Umm..ive seen plenty of whitevpassing pashyuns in the afghani neighborhood but the only time ive seen white passing pakistanis it yutned out they were pakhtoon(pashtoon)

Perhaps equidistant. But I've seen Kurds who look more Levantine (or western-shifted), whereas Persians do strikingly look more Afghan IN COMPARISON to Kurds.

well almost all Pashtuns live in Pakistan or Afghanistan so they cant resemble Pakis and Afghans they are Pakis and Afghans. As for phenotype this is how many pashtuns look. Well as for passing I would say more Pashtuns can pass in South Asia than Kurds who oftern time look like armenians/georgians.

Well it depend on the Iranians in question

Gilaki, Mazandrani, Azeri look very similar to Kurds
Sistani, Baluchi look very similar to Afghans

They look in between
