İstanbul - Lively but in a hurry. Full of history, museums. Bosporus.

İzmir - Very lively and liberal. It is my most favourite Turkish city.

Ankara - People are a bit cold but very helpful and honest. The buildings are mostly very tall and mostly grey.

Antalya - Peaceful but hot. Sexy women.

Adana - Very very hot, very warm blooded and helpful people.

Bursa - A bit conservative but very historical.

Mersin - Both my father and my mother grew up there. My homeland. Very nice coasts.

Muğla Bodrum - Very peaceful but lively. Nice vacation centers. Swimming in Aegean Sea is beautiful.

Bolu - Very nice mountains. People are a bit cold but helpful like Ankara people.

Düzce - So much like Bolu. It was a former district of Bolu but has become a separate city. Nice Black Sea shores.

Eskişehir - Very nice people. Very nice city. I wish I lived in either Eskişehir or İzmir.

Nevşehir Kapadokya - Full of natural beauties such as fairy chimneys.

idk. Sometimes when people say Asia they exclude the Middle east region.

So I have been to Antalya (Turkey) something like 11 years ago (I was really young). From what I can remember - nice people, nice hotels, it was a fun vacation. One night I walk while sleeping from my family's room to another level at the hotel knocking on doors (all while sleeping hahaha). Luckily they were Hebrew speaking Israelis that helped me finding my family in the middle of the night ( I didn't know English back then) lol.

Manila --- a mess. Lively, interesting, energetic but a complete mess. I, as an ordnung-muss-sein Germanic went through one hell of a culture shock... but a I love it ! It's like a second home to me. Shacks next to supermalls, old buildings in various states of decomposition and an awful lot of concrete roads.

Puerto Princesa --- a smaller variant of Manila and much the same applies but it was somewhat cleaner

Cebu ---- Like Manila: lively and interesting. Energetic but still a mess.

Tagbilaran --- a smaller variant of Manila and much the same applies but it was somewhat cleaner.

Hong Kong --- huge, dirty (air pollution as bad as Manila), some of the highest skyscrapers I have ever seen next to horrendously ugly apartment blocks and shopping malls with their own hotels and metro stations. Incredible energy !

Wake up and smell the coffee.

    Only Turkey.

    1. Istanbul Historical, Bosphorus. But crowded.
    2. Çanakkale One of the my favourite cities in Turkey. Sea, lovely people, historical.
    3. Balıkesir I like Balıkesir too, good for holidays. There are a lot of Pomak villages.
    4. Bursa I have lived 5 years in here. Home of Balkan migrators. Half of the population (~1.5m) from Balkans. A city between two mountain with the sea access. Historical.
    5. Izmir Most liberal city in Turkey. Also you can see sexy woman in there.
    6. Kütahya Nothing special.
    7. Ankara The buildings are mostly very tall and mostly grey. Also i didn't like it's climate, cold. Capital.
    8. Konya Nothing special except museums and historical places.
    9. Eskişehir Little Tatar city.
    10. Nevşehir Touristical.
