When other nations do something the U.S. doesn't do, they are more enlightened. When the U.S. does something different, we're backwards dumb-dumbs and need to conform to the world system.

Just messin' with you. In all honesty, the metric system does make a bit more "sense" in a well-rounded logical sort of way. I don't think the Imperial is quite as convoluted as people make it out to be, though.

He was spesifically asking for why people were using metric system, and that he has to convert everything. I told him to adapt because that's what the rest of the world uses and he has no right to complain.

If only ''aggresive'' behaviour of a Turk is enough to change your attitude towards a nation, there must be something wrong in somewhere.
